    Just wondering...

Websites tell me that there are 13 episodes. The people selling the dvd (Like at Amazon) tell me that there are 14.

Can someone explain this to me?

Is Amazon the only store saying that? Because Anime Castle, Central Park Media (the people who put out the DVD), and AnimeNation say that the DVD collection has only 13 episodes.

    It's likely just a typo.

as far as I know Yami no Matsuei only have 13 episodes. it is posible however that initially there was an episode 0 in Japan. thats kinda like a promotional episode with no plot and tons of spoilers that is generally intended to hook the odience and make sure they watch the show when it starts.

X had one of those ad did Fruit basket. the X episode was actually included in the official release in the west and although it was nice it didn't really contribute anything to the story.

at $35 it sounds like a dodgy copy - it might not be but i would make sure before I buy it.

I got the 4 DVDs and they are beautiful - they have 13 episodes.

Well.....13 is actually my lucky number. Believe it or not, it's one of my favourite numbers. ^^

By the way, Gravitation and Mirage of Blaze also have 13 episodes, and they're both shounen-ai.

Yup, Yami no Matsuei has 13 episodes.

If I'm not wrong, the Nagasaki Arc is 3 eps, the Devil's Trill Arc is 3 eps, the King of Swords Arc is 3 eps and the Kyoto Arc is 4.

Someone please do correct me if I'm wrong, I tend to mix up names alot.

    Strange phenomena:

Looking up "Descendants of Darkness" at Amazon will get you a 4 DVD set, containing 13 episodes and costs around $100.

Looking up "Yami no Matsuei" at the same place will get you a 3 DVD set, with 14 episodes and is around $35.

I'm confused. Could the "Yami no Matsuei" be bootleg... if so, then I shouldn't get that shouldn't I... ???
